Breaking A Yearly Dividend Milestone

First off I would like to thank everyone who has been following me on this crazy dividend growth investing journey. I started this website off with no expectations just a desire to track my growth, reflection purposes, inspiration and education. Even if this website never gets to an insane amount of traffic levels as other bloggers sights have I will still be happy with the fact that I have personally changed a few peoples live for the better financially.

I have had a lot of family members, friends and emails from people across the world reaching out to me to inform me that I have benefited their lives with pure inspiration and motivational power. This feeling alone is worth every dollar it takes to keep this website up and running. I have had periods of discouragement when I feel that having this website up and running is a waste of income that I could be fueling my Independence Fund with.

I just want to personally thank all those who have reached out to me with encouragement and kind words about the website. It may be a little thing, but it goes a long way for me.

Truly, Thank you!

All that being said, I broke a major milestone this month and I didn't even realize it. I have been really preoccupied with life lately and I haven't been to focused on the website this month which is crazy to me because I'm coming off a month where I had posted 7 articles. I have been behind on tracking my total yearly dividends received and I'm excited to announce that for the first time I broke $1,000 in a year!!!

It has definitely taken me awhile to grow my portfolio to this point but wow! It's amazing to finally see it start paying off. (Literally) I started on this journey only 20 months ago and it's nice to start to see the culmination of my efforts and savings. I have really taken my savings to the next level and started to control my monthly expenses. I have already seen this starting to pan out also in my monthly Independence Fund updates which shows my trend of decreasing expenses month to month.

It still blows my mind thinking that since fund Inception I have earned in $1,458.08 in dividend income. The best part is that all this money has been reinvested and is now working for me to create even more income! This is only the beginning and my expected annual dividend income is now even more then my total dividends received. The number keeps climbing every single month and it won't be long till I smash the $10k Mark. I'm giving it 3 years based upon my current trend. Lets see if I can do it.

Thanks for reading my milestone breaking article and I hope I can continue to inspire and educate those to own their financial future.
